| Hello, Collagen |
[Sep. 3rd, 2009|01:09 pm] |
I nursed a breakfast of apple, nashi pear and snow fungus 白木耳 in a hypnotoid way, after work post dawn today. I have always believed, with some celestial trust, that those fungus are flurry entities wherein a heady elixir danced. Not sure why.
Recently, besides consuming collagen, I have also amassed an extensive reading list which, Amazon just informed me, will arrive much sooner than anticipated. Nothing better to herald in Spring like picnicking in the parks, catching up to the books while dry flowers crepitated softly beneath. Hmmm.

| Reminiscing Winter |
[Nov. 27th, 2008|05:51 pm] |
Recently acquired: new winter items from idea2lifestyle on etsy. All handmade.
Twilled woolen jacket. Moon coloured dress.
...and they threw in a surprise vintage stretchy scarf with curly tails on both ends complete with child-like line drawings. It has just become one of the friendliest matches in my wardrobe.
Isn't it special to know who made the garment you're wearing?
Gerald and his family make simple beautiful project-runway-esque clothing online under the shop idea2lifestyle. |

| HAPPINESS IS...#1 |
[Nov. 11th, 2008|09:39 pm] |

...the discovery of Frankie - my new favourite all-Australian girly magazine before bed. I always read it sprawling limply in my bed, ravished, overcome, nodding dizzying assent at the girly illustrations that adorn every page. I am especially obsessed with the artist-designed gift wrappers book at the end amongst its other features in this issue.
Bindi Booth's designed pullout nov/dec calender is dressing my wall as I type.
Vintage 60's kitsch-est gift wrappers! These stuffs just seem so happy.

My first Threadless order finally arrived today after one month.
I remember folding myself onto the floor before the coffee table and began in fervant thrusts, my attack on the plastic pocketing the tees in a constant chiaroscuro of smiles and frowns, doubts and pouts. It was to prove unfounded as my light cotton monster fits like a glove but is a tee. M's fit is perfect as well.
I decidedly concurred that the Sasquatch is going on me to crit next Thursday for luck.
Perfect for spring. |
